Launched in 2003 by P&O Cruises, Ocean Village Cruises has quickly established themselves as one of the leading lights in the new age of less formal and flexible cruising. Based in Southampton, England, the cruise line has two ships Ocean Village and Ocean Village 2.
The average age of an Ocean Village cruiser is 43, 10 years younger than the industry norm, and currently up to 60% of Ocean’s passengers are trying a cruise for the first time. This new cruise audience can expect to find that formal dress codes and set meal times are a thing of the past.
Ocean Village Cruises currently offer fly cruises to the Caribbean during the winter months and the Mediterranean during the summer season. The 7 or 14 night cruises visit six beautiful and interesting ports of call every seven days and allow passengers to see the countries and islands of the Mediterranean and the Caribbean in all their glory.
On board an Ocean Village Cruises ship you will find plenty of activities to try and lots of entertainment day and night. There are four restaurants and seven bars to keep passengers refreshed and facilities such as mountain bikes, gym, spa and jacuzzis. The cabins are comfortable and spacious and are great for families.
