Just seen reports on Travel Weekly that the Lowcostholidays group who run Lowcostcruising has purchased Ideal Cruising. It looks like the plan is to incorporate Low Cost Cruising into Ideal Cruising however both brands will remain.
According to Travel Weekly Ideal Cruising will focus on the global brands while Low Cost Cruising will be aimed more at the sub £1,000 Mediterranean market.
Part of me wonders how many other mergers or acquisitions will there be in cruising of a similar nature to this Ideal Cruising, Low Cost Cruising one?
