Cunard Cruises

Continuing its tradition of luxury cruising, and proud of its reputation as being one of the world’s leading brands, Cunard Cruises continues to provide wonderful luxury cruises which it has done since the mid-nineteenth century.

The current fleet consisting of  Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria still capture public imagination and delight passengers around the world with their style, elegance and Royal heritage. The Cunard Cruises ships traditional red funnels will continue to be seen sailing out of their home base in Southampton, England.

The much loved Queen Elizabeth 2 has gone to pastures new after being retired in November 2008. She was initially going to take up residence in Dubai and be converted into a luxury hotel, however due to the economy this may not happen.

QE2 will be replaced in 2010 by a new 2092 passenger ocean liner called Queen Elizabeth a new 92,000 ton liner. She will have the usual opulence and grandeur expected of a Cunard Cruises ship and the impeccable service to match.

Traditional transatlantic crossings are as popular as ever on Queen Mary 2. She is still the only ship offering a regular scheduled transatlantic service. Other Cunard Cruises itineraries include visits to the Caribbean, Canada and the Americas, Northern Europe and Scandinavia, Mediterranean and North Africa, the Canary Islands. In addition there are world cruises and Southampton roundtrips.

Cunard Cruises is one of the world’s oldest transatlantic shipping companies. Starting out in 1840 they have gone from strength to strength and to this day continue to prosper in the world cruising market.
