The Oasis of the Seas is the largest cruise ship in the world and part of the Royal Caribbean International fleet. Able to carry a total of 5,400 passengers on 16 passenger decks Oasis of the Seas weighs in at 220,000 tons and measures 360 metres in length and 47 metres in width.
Oasis of the Seas is the first in the Oasis class of cruises ships, originally touted as being the Genesis class of ship. She had now been joined by a sister ship called the Allure of the Seas who came into service in November 2010.
On board facilities and amenities include a champagne bar, a pizzeria, spa, fitness centre, whirlpools and H20 Zone. An adults-only area is also available on board as well as a sports deck for basketball, mini-golf and rock-climbing.
Oasis of the Seas maiden voyage was on the 1st December 2009.
