P&O Caribbean Cruises are some of the most anticipated in the world of cruising. For cruises in 2009, P&O Cruises will have three ships based in the Caribbean for most of the winter; these are P&O Artemis, P&O Oceana and P&O Ventura.

P&O Oriana on the other hand has two really great cruises; these are cruising to the Caribbean from Southampton followed by a return cruise back to Southampton. So if you fancy spending 35 nights on a cruise ship, cruising in both the Caribbean and the Panama Canal, then this cruise will be your heaven. However as with all the P&O Caribbean Cruises they do sell quickly.

Those who sail on P&O Cruises Oriana generally fall in love with this classic cruise liner and come back again and again to enjoy a magical cruising experience. A cruise on Oriana can be as formal or as informal as you want especially when it comes to dining options. These range from fine dining in one of her elegant restaurants, enjoying a Gary Rhodes creation in the restaurant named after him or eating more informally on the Terrace Grill.

Upcoming Oriana cruises where you can sample these delights are a 10 night Canary Islands cruise, or a 16 night Mediterranean cruise both setting sail in April 2009. Oriana really does have something for everyone.

Named by Her majesty the Queen in 1995, P&O Oriana has been with the P&O Cruises fleet ever since. This vessel carries 1,822 passengers in a total of 914 cabins. She measures in at 853 feet in length and has a total of 10 decks designed to cater for passengers onboard.

P&O Oriana was designed to cater for all; families are more than welcome on board to enjoy a well deserved break with the kids as well as the grandparents. However this will change on the 30th November 2011 when she becomes a child free ship. Couples are also welcome onboard with plenty to do that allows couples to enjoy a little bit of intimacy. With art deco themed interiors and teak decks guests are greeted with a unique mood and feel when on board P&O Oriana.

A Gary Rhodes restaurant is available on board with Oriana and for a small extra supplement you can enjoy the beautiful food cooked by one of Britain’s leading chefs.

Other features onboard include 5 whirlpool spas, a pizzeria, cinema, ocean view gym and spa, plenty of family facilities and even music festivals at sea so P&O Oriana really is a ship filled with entertainment and surprises.
