Like all Millennium class ships, Celebrity Millennium was designed with generous passenger space in mind, especially when in terms of stateroom size. The largest cabin on board is a penthouse stateroom which measures 1,432 square feet but it also has a huge 1,098 square foot balcony.

A major feature on board Celebrity Millennium is a 25,000 square foot AquaSpa, the largest at sea. The spa is as luxurious as you would find anywhere and the facilities and treatments are a match for any land-based establishment. A fabulous place to relax and unwind is the Persian Garden, an exotic steam room filled with the aroma of eucalyptus.

The Celebrity Solstice class of ships are 122,000 tons and carry 2,850 guests in 1425 cabins, 90% of which are outside cabins, 85% with Balconies. The only ship in the Celebrity Cruises fleet not to have Celebrity Select Dining will be Celebrity Xpedition and the first cruise to experience the Celebrity Select Dining option will be on Celebrity Equinox on its 29th September 2009 cruise.

Celebrity Equinox is the second of the 2,850-passenger Solstice Class vessels and will run an eight-day Norwegian fjords itinerary from July 31. This will be in addition to the ship’s maiden Mediterranean Cruise from Southampton to Civitavecchia on August 8.

Celebrity are investing a lot in Europe this year with Celebrity Century, Celebrity Summit, Celebrity Constellation and Celebrity Solstice being joined by Celebrity Equinox during the year, to offer cruises throughout Europe and the Mediterranean.
