Best time for Caribbean Cruises

September 22, 2009 by admin ·

Well I guess anytime would be the best time for Caribbean Cruises if Hurricanes don’t bother you that is? Traditionally the Hurricane season is from June 1st till the end of November, this does not mean it can’t happen out of season, it is just most likely to happen then. August and September are historically the busiest times of the year for Hurricanes in the Caribbean.

Caribbean Cruises are very popular especially around Christmas time, however to get the best cabins you need to book early so if you are looking for a Caribbean cruise in 2010, do it now!

Though the best time for a Caribbean Cruise is outside the summer months, if it just has to be a summer cruise to the Caribbean; then try one in the southern Caribbean such as Barbados as it is less likely though still possible to get a Hurricane there.

Regent Seven Seas Free Shore Excursions

September 18, 2009 by admin ·

Regent Seven Seas are offering free shore excursions to their passengers for cruises in 2010. This adds to the overall value of a Regent Seven Seas cruise as passengers already receive free alcoholic and soft drinks, free speciality dining and their gratuities (tips) included in the price.

Some people will say that Regent Seven Seas cruises are not cheap cruises, however if you add up all this added value and remember the fact that to all intents and purpose you are travelling in a luxury 5 star floating hotel, are they expensive? If only more companies would follow Regent Seven Seas free shore excursions policy.

eDocs comes online from October 12 with all tickets being supplied by way of the Norwegian Cruise Line new ticketing system eDocs from 11 December 2009.

National Cruise Week 2009

September 18, 2009 by admin ·

The National Cruise Week 2009, run by the Association of Cruise Experts (ACE) is being held next week running from September 20- 27. This is the second time that ACE has held a National Cruise Week, so what is it?

Well in layman’s terms it is an attempt to promote the cruise holiday industry through a series of events promoting cruising. There are 3,000 travel agency members of ACE, though not all of them will be holding events during the 2009 National Cruise Week.

With the current economic climate more and more agencies are looking for ways to promote their cruise holidays and with a growing number of new cruise ships due for cruises in 2010, events like the National Cruise Week 2009 can only help them
