Most of the main cruise lines offer Repositioning Cruises which you can sometimes pick up at a bargain price. These one-off bargain cruises are sometimes not called repositioning cruises but you may find them in the brochures under such names as Westbound Voyage, Eastbound Voyage or even Transatlantic Crossing.
Repositioning cruises usually sail in the spring and autumn and as well as transatlantic cruises you can get some really good cheap cruises visiting Africa, the Caribbean, the East coast of the USA, the Panama Canal and South America. Some brochures have repositioning cruises listed as world cruises, but it doesn’t really matter because they all offer a wonderful chance to see the world.
